We are pleased to announce that we are now taking reservations for this years Annual Dinner Dance honouring our members who have achieved 25, 40, 50 & 60 years of good standing with the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers.  Our annual Dinner Dance event will be held at the following location:

Terrace Banquet Centre, 1680 Creditstone Road, Vaughan, ON.

Cocktails and antipasto bar will commence at 6:30 pm

Please call the union office at 416-630-1160 to reserve your seats no later than November 15th, 2019.

We have made arrangements with Hilton Garden Inn, located at 3201 Highway 7 West, Vaughan, L4K 5Z7, 905-660-4700 Group Block SMWI and have negotiated a special rate of $145.00 plus taxes. Rooms will be blocked off only until November 9th 2019.   We have also made arrangements with Monte Carlo Inn – Vaughan Suites, located at 705 Applewood Crescent, Vaughan, ON, L4K 5W8, 905-761-7170.  Group Block: Sheet Metal Workers’ or code 371531 and have negotiated a rate of $114.90 plus taxes. Rooms will be blocked off only until November 18th, 2019.

Please note that SMART Local 285 has made arrangements to and from the hotels and Banquet hall.  We do not want our members and friends to drink and drive, so we strongly recommend you take advantage of the special offer we have put together. If however you choose not to take advantage of this offer, please make the appropriate transportation arrangements for a safe journey to and from our event.
